Digital Goa, Feb 7 – Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC)will hold a public hearing on Feb 15, 2023 over several petitions filed by Goa Electricity Dept including the proposal for tariff hike for Financial Year 2023- 2024. Goa has filed petitions before JERC for approval of annual performance review of FY 2022-23, aggregate revenue requirement for FY 2023-24 & tariff proposal for FY 2023-24. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, Feb 15 at 11.30 am at Mini Conference Hall, Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji at 11.30 am. The department has proposed a hike of 6% in power tariff for the financial year 2023-24. If the proposal is approved by JERC, the new tariff will come into force from April 2023.
