Nov 28- The 7 Km stretch of Tinai Ghat Section which is part of balance work of Khanapur, Karnataka/GoaBorder section of NH-4A is likely yo be completed by April 2025, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari informed Goa Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik in a written communication dated Nov 18,2024. Naik had written to the Center about the bad condition of the 7 Km stretch at Tinai Ghat section between Belagavi and Goa in Oct 2023. “I have got the matter examined,” said Gadkari. “Furthermore, the maintenance works on damaged diversion roads are also being carried out by the contractor to keep the road in traffic worthy condition till upgradation works are completed,” Gadkari assured.
