Dec 9- Tension prevailed in Navdurga Temple at Marcaim over the dispute between the villagers and priest. Complaints are filed in Mardol police station from both the groups. Around 100 villagers marched at the police station at Mardol and filed a complaint against 3 priests for allegedly assaulting women in Navadurga temple at Marcaim. In a counter complaint priests filed complaint against 3 youth for assaulting a priest. The dispute was over who has the right over the daily income of temple in terms of perishable items like coconut, rice etc.
