Dec 12- Mopa Airport Police have arrested Shourab Barua, a 25-year-old Bangladeshi national from Mopa Airport, for illegally staying in India and also forging documents to obtain an Indian passport. Based on a complaint by Immigration Officer at Manohar International Airport, Barua was apprehended at the departure immigration counter yesterday afternoon. He had allegedly acquired an Aadhaar card, birth certificate, and PAN card with Nasik, Maharashtra address under the false identity of Shourab Chowdhury. He purportedly presented these documents at the Passport Seva Kendra, Nashik and fraudulently succeeded in obtaining Indian passport. Barua has been booked under various sections of the Foreigners Act, Passport Entry into India Act, and IPC for cheating and forgery. PSI Ashish B. Porob is investigating the case.
