Dec 16 – An accident at Sanvordem, Gandhinagar claimed the life of a youth identified as Ashwit Gaonkar. Ashwit a resident of Bhandol, Savordem died on the spot after his two-wheeler collided head-on with a truck. In the same incident, another youth riding a separate bike sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
