Digital Goa, Oct 19 – Illegal liquor caught anywhere outside the State need not necessarily be from Goa, asserted CM Pramod Sawant today. “Liquor caught anywhere else need not be ours,” said Sawant. He was speaking to a query regarding allegations of rise in illegal and spurious liquor trade.

AAP Goa has today charged that Goa Excise Dept officials are hand in glove with those involved in illegal and spurious liquor trade. Party president Amit Palekar said that his allegations are based on the audio proof in his possession. Excise officials are helping criminals booked by Gujarat govt in illegal liquor scam, he further alleged.
