Akasa flight receives hoax bomb threat call; flight lands safely at Mopa

Oct 27- Akasa Air flight scheduled to land at Mopa Airport received a hoax bomb threat call today. The flight has however landed safely. The Airlines has also said that some of their flights operating on October 27, 2024 have received security alerts today. Earlier this week, Vistara’s UK555 Delhi-Goa flight and UK589 Hyderabad-Goa flight scheduled to land at Mopa, and IndiGo’s 6E 362 Hyderabad-Goa flight scheduled to land at Dabolim were affected due to the hoax bomb threats. Nearly 350 flights across the country have received hundreds of hoax bomb threat calls since last 14 days causing panic among fliers and keeping the authorities on their toes. At least 50 flights across the nation got bomb threats today i.e. October 27.
