Sept 27 – All engineers who are working with the PWD’s Roads division including JE, AE, EE for over 5 years will be transferred and shifted from their current posting, asserted CM Pramod Sawant. Stating that the department will be held responsible for the bad state of roads, he said over the past several years officials have not kept themself abreast of changing technologies. New technologies will be introduced in road making to ensure that they last for longer period, he said.
