Digital Goa, May 30 – All monsoon related work will be completed by the electricity department by June 5, assured Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar. Alerting that roads may cave in and potholes may develop as aftereffect of underground cabling work, the minister said that govt has notified contractors to take requisite measures under such circumstances. He urged citizens to connect with the nearest Electricity Dept office in such cases. “My department, along with PWD will get the problems rectified. I will also supervise the work,” he assured. In areas where underground cabling of High Tension lines has been completed, Electricity related problems will be less during the monsoons, he opined.
