Digital Goa, Dec 28 – MGP has extended support to the BJP for the formation of the Zilla Panchayat panels in Goa, MGP president Deepak Dhavalikar informed today. Dhavalikar said a letter of support from the party’s three elected Zilla Panchayat members has been submitted to the BJP. He further stated that the alliance with the BJP will continue for the 2027 elections as well. The senior MGP leader also said that in the Ponda by-election, the party will back the candidature of Ritesh Naik, son of late Ravi Naik. Responding to queries about former MGP leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar, Dhavalikar said that Bhatikar has left the party and the MGP has no role to play in his future course of action.
