Digital Goa, April 14- CM Pramod Sawant has announced that 2,140 sq mts of land has been allocated at Porvorim for the construction of Ambedkar Bhavan, with a fund allocation of Rs 10 crore. Sawant assured that foundation stone for the Bhavan will be laid within the next six months and that the project will be completed within government’s current tenure. The Bhavan is expected to serve as a centre for socio-cultural activities. The project has been pending for past several years. Incidentally, in the 2023-24 budget also provision of Rs.7.47 crores was made for the Bhawan.
