Digital Goa, April 22- The Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) of Goa Police has seized Rs 11.07 crore worth of LSD, marking the biggest-ever LSD haul in the state. The seizure was made from a rented house in Bamanwado, Siolim, where the accused had allegedly been operating a large-scale drug operation purportedly over the last 6 months. Addressing the media, ANC SP Sunita Sawant said the accused, 29-year-old Mohammad Sameer, a Kerala native, was found in possession of 110.7 grams of high-micron liquid LSD, a potent psychedelic drug commonly used at trance parties.According to Sawant, the seized LSD could potentially yield 10 to 12 lakh blots, with each blot being sold for anywhere between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 in the illegal drug market. Mohammad, who has been living in Goa for the past 5 years, also ran a guest house at Baga. He has no prior criminal record. Police have taken him into seven-day custody for further interrogation. SP Sawant did not rule out more arrests in the coming days as efforts continue to trace the source of the LSD supply.
