No power supply to Bardez and Pernem Talukas on May 28 from 6 am to 12 noon*
Digital Goa, May 25 – There will be no power supply to electricity consumers of entire Bardez and Pernem Taluka on Sunday, May 28 from 6 am to 12 noon due to Premonsoon maintenance work of Thivim Substation. However, power supply will be available to essential services like Assonora water works, District Hospital etc.”The public of Bardez and Pernem Taluka are hereby informed that a planned shutdown has been arranged at 220/110/33/11 KV Tivim substation in North Goa on 28.05.2023 Sunday between 6.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs carrying out Premonsoon maintenance of 220 KV and 110 KV equipment’s like Bus isolators, Transformer Isolators, breakers etc. and replacing of one section of the existing 110 KV Main bus with twin conductor, therefore there will be no power supply to electricity consumers of entire Bardez and Pernem Taluka on above day and time,”states a release by the Electricity Dept.
