Digital Goa, Feb 27 – Audio clip, purportedly of an ‘official’ from the State IT Dept seeking bribe to the tune of Rs one lakh in return for contract basis job in InfoTech Corporation of Goa(ITG) has gone viral on social media. The ‘official’ is heard convincing the prospective candidate for Senior Associate- Social Media post to give him the money in cash promising return of the money in case he does not get the job. “I am the authority here,” the person is heard as saying. On Nov 11, 2023 ITG had issued advertisement for the post on contract basis with Consolidated Monthly Salary of Rs 75,000.
