Digital Goa, July 21 – Minister Babush Monserrate has been exempted from appearing in the court in the Panaji police station attack case till September 30, 2023 by South Goa Special Court hearing criminal cases against politicians. However, the leverage has not been extended to Jennifer Monserrate who is also an accused in the 2008 police station attack case. Both Babush and Jennifer Monserrate had sought permanent exemption from appearance in the case. Incidentally, CBI Counsel had opposed granting of exemption to both of them during last hearing on July 14.
