Digital Goa, Mar 17 – Driver of the mini truck involved in yesterday’s horrific accident at Balli, Quepem has been booked for drunken driving. The accused is identified as Ratnagiri resident Rakesh Gore. He has been also charged of transporting passengers illegally. The mini truck with 15 occupants, many of whom where cashew factory workers, went off the road and fell near a roadside culvert at Hordem near Balli after driver lost control of the vehicle. Two persons – Devraj Sathliya and Hakku Sathliya succumbed to injuries while 11 persons including five children and the cleaner are hospitalised.
