Digital Goa, July 17 – Thousands of students and parents were inconvenienced as hundreds of Bal Rath (school bus) employees went on indefinite strike from today demanding higher salary and job security. Around 650 striking bal rath drivers and attendants sat on dharna at Azad Maidan in Panaji. The Balrath Employees Association rejected the govt order increasing salary of drivers and attendants by Rs 1,000 and Rs 500. They demanded Rs 20,000 salary for drivers and Rs 14,500 salary for attendants along with job security and PF.
