Feb 19- State Cabinet today approved the proposal to ban Rottweiler and Pitbull dogs in the state. Amendment will be made to related ordinance soon, informed CM Pramod Sawant. Henceforth, it will not be permitted to bring such type of dogs in Goa, he said. People in Goa who own the ferocious breed dogs will have to register with Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Dept and take complete responsibility to ensure that the dog does not hurt anyone, he added.
