Digital Goa, Nov 2 – Five tourists from Banaras were allegedly assaulted by bouncers at a popular nightclub in Anjuna late on Saturday night over some petty matter. As per the complaint lodged in this regards at the Anjuna police station, the group, which included women, claimed that male bouncers manhandled and beat them, while the nightclub manager, allegedly in an inebriated state, watched without intervening. An FIR has been registered at Anjuna Police Station, and some persons have been detained for inquiry.
