Digital Goa, July 2 – Two passengers were injured after a private passenger bus travelling from Bangalore to Goa met with an accident on National Highway-66 near Avarsa in Ankola taluk of Uttara Kannada district on Thursday.According to preliminary information, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to veer off the highway and overturn down the roadside embankment. The impact left two passengers with injuries, while the remaining occupants escaped unhurt or sustained minor bruises. Local residents and emergency responders rushed to the spot and shifted the injured passengers to a nearby hospital for treatment.
