Digital Goa, July 27 – Akshaypatra, Bangalore and Stri Shakti, Delhi who are among five qualified bidders to supply mid-day meals to 5,000 students in Goa, gave their presentation to the department of Education today. Incidentally, the Goan company who had applied for the bid did not participate in the final opening of the technical bid. Of the 1.63 lakh students to whom the mid-day meal is provided in Goa, only 5,000 will be catered to by the successful bidder. For rest of the students, Self Help Groups and PTAs will continue to provide the service.
