Digital Goa, April 22 – Tense situation was witnessed at Bhoma village this morning during demarcation of boundaries of proposed elevated corridor passing through Bhoma village. PWD officials marked the end points of elevated corridor on ground. However, villagers were not satisfied with the answers of the officials and charged them of misguiding. PWD officials told villagers that though government has acquired 30 to 45 mts of land, the actual structure of 6 lane flyover will be within 25 mts that runs from Kundai to near Banasthari bridge. We have done the marking on ground as per the approved plan and there wont be any change in this in future, official told villagers. Unsatisfied with the marking by PWD officials, villagers have decided to meet CM again with the objections. Villagers said they are still firm on their demand for a bypass.
