Digital Goa, Aug 29 – Bhoma villagers today gathered in large numbers to reiterate their demand for bypass. They alleged that the explanation given by PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral yesterday did not reflect the real picture of the destruction of the village. They demanded that the govt should scrap the gazette notification for land acquisition for Highway expansion and holds a comprehensive discussion on the issue with the villagers. They asserted that they are not fighting to save the houses alone but to save the cultural identity of the Bhoma village and that the fight will continue till their demands are met.
