Bhopal duo remanded to 10 day police custody in 77-year-old Punjabi businessman murder case

Digital Goa, Feb 5 – The accused duo in the 77-year-old Punjabi business murder case at Marra, Pilerne have been brought to Goa from Vashi, Mumbai. Both the accused, 22-year-old Neetu Rahuja and 32-year-old Jitendra Sahu from Bhopal were produced before the court today. The Court has granted the duo 10 days police custody. Dhillon who was into hospitality business in Goa since 2016, was found murdered in a villa at Pilerne yesterday morning. His jewelry was also missing from the villa. Goa police traced the vehicle of the guest duo Neetu and Rahuja who had arrive at Dhillon’s villa on Saturday night, on suspicion. Police connected with Crime Branch, Mumbai who apprehended the duo who were travelling to Mumbai in a car without number plate. They have allegedly confessed to committing the murder. Gold and valuables worth Rs 47.82 lakh were seized from the duo. The accused have alleged that Dhillon’s attempt of sexual assault on the guest woman was the trigger for the crime.
