Digital Goa, Dec 29 – Bicholim police have busted an organised criminal gang while probing theft at a Petrol Pump at Sakhalim, arresting two youths and detaining a minor. Police said accused are part of a larger gang involves in several vehicle theft and other robbery cases in Goa and neighbouring Maharashtra. The accused held during night patrolling have been identified as Mahesh Shiv Shetty (19) of Karai and Bhuvan Tilkaraj Pillai (18) of Peddem, Mapusa. The minor accompanying them has been sent to a protective home. The theft occurred in the early hours of December 28, when ₹9,000 in cash and DVR containing CCTV footage were stolen from the petrol pump office at Karapur-Tisk.
