Digital Goa, Sept 24 – A 35-year-old Bihar native labourer, Mohammad Aktar Alam, sustained an injury to the right side of his neck after being struck by an unknown object, informed Valpoi police. The incident occurred near Podocem, Poriem, Sattari on September 20 at around 7.30 pm. According to the complaint lodged at Valpoi Police Station, Alam heard a loud noise resembling an electric short circuit before being hit. It is suspected that the object may have been negligently thrown by an unknown person, said police. Alam began bleeding after he was hit by the object. He taken to CHC Sankhalim and later referred to GMC Bambolim for further treatment. Residents in the vicinity reported hearing nothing unusual at the time, police claimed.
