Dec 30 – Large number of villagers marched onto a five star hotel at Rajbagh, Canacona demanding clearing of the traditional pathway allegedly blocked by the hotel yesterday. The pathway which was barricaded and blocked by the hotel was opened up following the protest. Locals from 4 surrounding villagers who participated in the protest pointed out that in addition to being frequently used pathway, it was also used during several religious rituals. They also met Dy Collector and sought his intervention in the matter.
