Digital Goa, August 2 – Vasco Police have booked a Pune woman for allegedly cheating a Bogmalo resident of ₹10 lakh by impersonating his friend on WhatsApp. Police said Shubhangi Katariya allegedly posed as the complainant’s friend, Suraj Dailani, and convinced him to transfer ₹10 lakh to an HDFC Bank account on the false pretext of an urgent financial requirement.
