Digital Goa, Dec 17 – A 21-year-old scooter rider was killed after a passenger bus allegedly driven rashly collided with his vehicle near the Nexa showroom at Karapur Tisk, Sankhalim, in the early hours of December 16. Police said the bus, driven by Rahul Sawant (27) of Honda, Sattari, crossed the centre line and hit a scooter coming from the opposite direction. The rider, Mahmadadil Hubballi, a native of Karnataka and resident of Sakhali suffered severe head injuries and later died at the CHC Sanquelim. The accused was arrested on December 16 and released on bond the same day.
