Digital Goa, Feb 5- Cabinet today granted nod to reintroduce the subsidy scheme for electric vehicles, albeit with reduction in subsidy amount as compared to the 2021 version. Those who have purchased their electric vehicles between Aug 2022 and Dec 2023 will be eligible to avail the scheme. Vehicle wise subsidy amount is as follow – two-wheelers from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000, three wheelers from Rs 8,000 to Rs 60,000, four wheelers from Rs 8,000 to Rs one lakh. In addition, those scrapping old vehicles will be provided incentive of Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000.

Cabinet today approved granting of one year extension in service to Principal Chief Engineer PWD Uttam Parsekar and 6 months extension to Chief Engineer Santosh Mhapne .
