Digital Goa, Feb 4- Cancer hospital will come up in Goa within next 16 months, in collaboration with Tata memorial Hospital, informed Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane. The design of the hospital has been modified as recommended by Tata Memorial, he added. Incidentally, GMC Hospital today administered the first Pertuzumab-Trastuzumab combination injection to a breast cancer patient. The injection costing Rs 4.20 lakh is a state-of-the-art monoclonal antibody for HER2+ breast cancer patients. The drug will be now made available free of cost for patients in Goa.
