Digital Goa, May 14- The Captain of Ports has directed all boat owners, dock operators, and shipyards to take preventive measures against vector-borne diseases like Malaria, Dengue, and Chikungunya ahead of the monsoon.
Key measures include preventing rainwater accumulation in barges, tyres, and small vessels, regular draining of stagnant water, and screening of labourers for Malaria with health cards issued by the Directorate of Health Services.
