Digital Goa, Feb 8 – Captain of ports will be taking up maintenance dredging across the sand bars at the mouth of River Chapora within an area of 1000 Metres in length from March to May 2024. The dredging will be 50 Metres wide and 2.5 Metres from existing Depth. CoP has invited bids for the dredging work, including the disposal of the desilted materials and spoils at the designated disposal ground, strictly as per the provisions of the C. R. Z. Notification, 1991 or as directed by the Captain of Ports. This work needs to be commenced by March, 2024 and needs to be completed by May, 2024.
