Caranzalem resident duped to the tune of Rs 2.69 crore on pretext of furnishing fiancé visa to USA

Digital Goa, Jan 5 – A woman from Maharashtra who is presently residing at Caranzalem has been duped to the tune of whooping Rs 2.69 crore on the pretext of helping her procure fiancée visa for America. A complaint to this effect has been filed at Cybercrime Cell of Goa police. The victim lady has filed cheating complaint against Nicklon Nixon, Kenneth and Trisha for inducing her to deposit Rs 2.69 crore in different bank accounts through multiple transactions as procedure fees for completing formalities for getting a USA fiancé visa. The K-1 visa, also called a fiancé visa ,allows the engaged partner of a US citizen to enter the United States. The main condition of being issued a K-1 visa is that the holder and their partner be married within 90 days of entering the US. Once married, the holder can then apply for permanent residence (a “green card”) based on marriage.
