Case filed against person running club house operating prostitution racket at Ribandar: CM

    Digital Goa, Dec 21- Goa police have filed a case against the person running the M K Club House at Ribandar from where prostitution racket was being operated, informed CM Pramod Sawant. Old Goa police had rescued six girls from Nepal and arrested three persons for their involvement in an alleged prostitution racket operating from the club at Ribandar which was run in the form of a dance bar.
    Goa does not want tourism based on drugs, prostitution and human trafficking, asserted Sawant adding that stern action will be taken against those involved in such trades. He warned hotel, bar and club owners that their licenses will be suspended for 6 months if they are found entertaining touts cheating tourists. “Even if a tourist complains, the establishment will be closed and licences will be canceleld for 6 months,” he warned.
