Digital Goa , April 17 – The Goa Cashew Fest 2025 – Season 3 will be held from April 25 to 27 at D.B. Grounds in Panaji. Organised by the Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC), the three-day festival is a state-supported initiative aimed at celebrating the cultural and economic significance of cashew cultivation in Goa. Entry is free.
The festival, led by GFDC Chairperson Dr. Deviya Rane, has grown into a signature event highlighting the contribution of cashew cultivators, showcasing value-added products, and promoting sustainable rural livelihoods.
With the theme Explore. Empower. Enrich., the event will feature technical sessions, 50+ food and beverage stalls, and cultural programming including a fashion show and live performances by Aastha Gill, Meet Bros, Neeti Mohan, and prominent Goan artists.
GFDC said the initiative not only honours Goa’s cashew heritage but also aims to create long-term economic opportunities for local communities through agro-based tourism and entrepreneurship.
