Digital Goa, June 11 — Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has expressed support for increasing direct international air connectivity to Goa, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said after meeting the minister. Khaunte informed that the Union Minister also spoke of collaborating with airlines to enable viable point-to-point pricing, a move aimed at increasing tourist footfalls and strengthening Goa’s appeal as a global tourism destination.Khaunte also met Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who he said has backed Goa’s concert economy initiatives.
