Digital Goa, August 8 – The Central government has finalized the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) 2011 with corrections and granted Goa permission to draft CZMP 2019, said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. He said this comes as a major relief for the coastal belt, as structures within 100 metres of the High Tide Line (HTL) will be regularised for the first time. Once CZMP 2019 is finalized, structures in urban areas up to 50 metres from the HTL will also benefit, he added.
