Digital Goa, July 13- Govt of Goa has nominated the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) for administering the Credit Guarantee Scheme for the credit facilities extended by the Lending Institutions. Goa govt has signed MoU with CGTMSE to this effect today. To facilitate flow of credit to MSME borrowers in Goa, the govt has introduced Mukhyamantri Saral Udyog Sahayya Yojana where the coverage guarantee under CGTMSE has been increased up to a maximum of 95 per cent. This is expected to minimise the risk and encourage collateral free lending by the member lending institutions. For this purpose, a provision of Rs 10 crores has already been made in the state budget. CGTMSE is jointly set up by Union Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and SIDBI to catalyse flow of institutional credit to Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs).
