Digital Goa, Mar 11 – Chimbel Junction to Merces underpass road will be closed during night time i.e. from 10 pm to 6 am from March 12,2024 to March 20,2024. The Executive Engineer of Division-VII (NH) PWD, Panaji, In-charge of Highway stretch for NH-748 has ordered closure of the road from Chimbel Junction to Merces underpass from March 12,2024 to March 20, 2024 between 10 pm to 6 am (total 8hrs) for launching of Precast Girders.
During the closure –
▪️ Heavy traffic coming from Ponda side will be diverted at Banastarim junction to proceed via Sanquelim for onward journey.
▪️ Heavy traffic heading towards Ponda from Panaji and Atal Setu may be diverted at Merces Circle to proceed to Ponda via Verna IDC.
