Digital Goa, July 15- A subsidy of Rs 100 per idol is offered by Goa Handicraft to eligible Ganesh Clay Idol Makers (Artisans) for making Ganesh idols. Goa Handicrafts has invited applications from eligible Goan Clay Idol Makers for this year. The subsidy aims to encourage traditional clay idol making and preserve ancient art form and facilitate effective implementation of Ban on Plaster of Paris idols in the State.The applications are available from July 17 to Aug 18 at Goa Handicraft office at EDC Plaza, Patto, Panaji, Bicholim Production Centre, Bicholim Industrial Estate and Aparant Emporium, Margao Residency, Margao.
