Digital Goa, Jan 14 – CM Pramod Sawant said he has appealed to villagers of Chimbel, who are protesting against the proposed Unity Mall project, to call off their agitation and resolve the issue through discussions with the government. Briefing the media after meeting the protestors, CM said the government is ready to hold talks and address their concerns. He urged the protestors to engage in dialogue and also listen to the government’s perspective. However, the protestors have remained firm on their stand and have decided to continue their agitation until the government scraps the Unity Mall project. They have also announced a march to the Assembly complex on January 15.
