Digital Goa, Aug 15 – Stating that some fringe elements are purposely trying to create communal disharmony in Goa, CM Pramod Sawant today asked Goans not to fall prey to their sinister plans. “Goa signifies brotherhood,” he said while addressing the state at the state level Independence day function in the Capital City. They are trying to vitiate the social environment in Goa by using issues from other states, he alleged. “Since 1961, Hindus, Muslims, Christians in Goa have been living in harmony in the state,” said Sawant. He urged Goans to take a pledge that they will not fall prey to any attempts aimed at disturbing this unity.
