CM assures to build access road at Kajugotto village within 2 months after villagers hold protest in Panaji

    Digital Goa, July 31 – Residents of Kajugotto and Carla villages in Quepem taluka, who are struggling without an access road for past several decades, today held demonstrations outside the Tribal Affairs Dept in Panaji. Later in the day, CM Pramod Sawant met a delegation of villagers in the presence of Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar and assured to complete the road within two months. Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai also visited the agitation site to extend his support to the agitator’s demands. Digital Goa through a video released yesterday had highlighted the plight of students and patients in this tribal village, which has been longing for a road for the last 60 years.
