Jan 13 – CM Pramod Sawant emphasized the need for leadership across various sectors, citing a significant leadership vacuum in the country. Speaking at the Young Leaders Conclave in the city, he urged students to develop leadership skills, noting that leadership extends beyond politics to include social, economic, and cultural spheres.“Fifty percent of leaders in the BJP today have emerged from student politics. College politics provided them the platform to grow and eventually transition into mainstream politics.”, he said. Sawant stressed the importance of life skills and leadership qualities such as public speaking. “These skills are essential for shaping the leaders of tomorrow,” he added.
