Digital Goa, Mar 26- CM Pramod Sawant presented revenue surplus budget 2025-26 with projected revenue surplus of Rs 2400.03 cr today. Goa’s per capita is projected to be Rs 9.69 lakh.
Fiscal Profile – GSDP at current price for 2025-26 projected at Rs 1.38 lakh crore with growth rate of 14.27 %. Per capita income of Goa is projected at Rs 9.67 lakh for the year 2025-26. Estimated receipts at 27,993.97 cr which is 13.2% higher than last year.
▪️ Rs 640 crore has been allocated for infrastructure projects under the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation.
▪️ Rs 440 crore to enhance the tourism sector.
▪️ Rs 857 crore allocated for Health Sector. 108 new ambulances for trauma care, Day care cancer centers
▪️ To promote Tourism Infrastructure in Hotel and Medical Tourism Sector tax holiday in the form of 50 % rebate on State GST, exemption in stamp duty and registration, waiver in other processing charges to the investors who set up at least Three Star category or above hotel or hospital in the hinterland talukas of Bicholim, Sanguem, Quepem, Canacona, Dharbandora, Ponda and Sattari
 For all tourism-related projects, infrastructure support such as electricity, water, and sewerage connections to be provided through a single-window mechanism.
▪️ Mega college campus near Panaji which will house Goa College of Pharmacy, Goa College of Architecture, Fine Arts College & Goa Music College
▪️ Laptops to primary and middle schools and allocate funds for upgrading computer labs.
▪️ Aero tourism, including skydiving and drone tourism, is proposed at Quitol, Quepem, along with paragliding and paramotoring activities.
▪️ New Mopa city under MADA and new colour coded cities
▪️ Employees who have worked on a contract basis for over five years will be granted temporary government employee status until vacancies become available
▪️  Rs 100 crore worth of development projects for each MLA
▪️ Goa Tamnar project to be dedicated to state this year
▪️ New state museum complex at cost of Rs 40 crore.
▪️ Structural audit of all heritage building in Goa

▪️ GIPARD new building by spending Rs 17 crore
▪️ Goa Niwas and Goa Bhavan to be renovated
▪️ Additional 50% percent charges on water bills to be imposed as penalty on domestic & 100% on commercial establishments on failure to set up dedicated sewage line
▪️ Pre-feasibility study for 6 new dams
▪️ Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for govt servants to be implemented from 2025-26
▪️ Plug and play model and Music Festivals state of the art facility proposed
▪️ New Jetty to open June 1, Mini Convention Center at Patto by Dec 2025
