Digital Goa, May 22 – CM Pramod Sawant has assured timely declaration of Goa University’s final-year examination results after concerns were raised that delays could jeopardise students’ higher education and job opportunities. The assurance came after AAP MLA Venzy Viegas, along with a delegation of final-year students, met CM at his official residence in Altinho . Students expressed concern over GU’s tentative schedule to declare final-year results on September 28, saying the delay could result in the loss of an entire academic year as admissions for most Master’s programmes and recruitment deadlines close much earlier. The delegation urged that the results be declared at least by the end of August.
