Digital Goa, July 28 – CM Sawant raised concerns over the violation of House decorum during Friday’s debate on the POGO Bill resolution, stating that the behaviour of LoP Yuri Alemao was inappropriate and that members should familiarize themselves with the rules and conduct of the House. Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar also condemned the act of throwing papers toward the Speaker’s chair, calling it highly objectionable and undemocratic. In response, Yuri asserted that the Speaker should remain neutral, adding, “As Leader of the Opposition, I am mandated to raise the people’s issues.” He also urged the CM not to dictate how the House should function.
