Jan 2- Goa government will present its budget for the new financial year in March 2025. CM Pramod Sawant chaired the Pre-Budget meeting at Mantralaya today. The discussions emphasised the importance of innovation, accountability, and efficiency in budget preparation and execution, said CM while speaking to media persons after the meeting. He claimed that promises given in the last budget speech have been fulfilled or their implementations are in pipeline, with exception of 6. Sawant informed that of the 446 assurances given in the last budget, implementation of 70 has been completed , 107 will be completed by March 2025 and 263 will be completed in 2025 and 6 could not be fulfilled. He also assured that an action taken report will be presented regarding the budget assurances soon
