Digital Goa, August 3 – CM Pramod Sawant has urged citizens to report cases of drug addiction among youth to the police, Health Department or Social Welfare Department so that affected individuals can be admitted to rehabilitation centres for treatment. Launching the “Nashamukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan”, Sawant said drug peddlers often trap youngsters by initially supplying drugs free of cost before pushing them into addiction. He appealed to teachers and the public to support the campaign, stressing that a drug-free youth is essential for a developed India.
